LSWC COMMITTEE

At the Annual General Meeting the following members were elected on to the Committee Officers Chairman – Roger – G3PVU Secretary – Pam – G4STO Treasurer – Roger – G3PVU Activity Officer – Steve – M5ZZZ Ordinary Committee Members Ian – G4EVK Alistair – M0TEF Les – G1LQB Peter – 2E0FGA Adrian – M0NWK There are two vacancies on the Committee. Roger has agreed to take on the role of Treasurer for the time being.

Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the Club took place on Wednesday 11 January 2017 and the following members were elected onto the Committee: Chairman – Ian G4EVK Secretary – Pam G4STO Treasurer – Terry G7JFI Activity Officer – Ian G4XFC Ordinary Committee Members Alistair – M0TEF Bob – G7AVU Les – G1LQB Roger G3PVU Steve M5ZZZ Item 13 on the agenda was presentation of awards and the photo below shows Peter M0EJL being presented with the Joe Rose Memorial Trophy for Construction.  Other photos show members present at the AGM.

Honorary Life Membership

For many years Gerry, G6KGG, has been a loyal and hard-working member of the Lincoln Short Wave Club. He was there when we set up the Permanent Special Event Station at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre at East Kirkby, he also helped with fitting out our shack at Aisthorpe and you could always rely on Gerry being there at Special Event Stations and Contests and he has helped get numerous candidates through their Foundation and Intermediate Exams. Presentation of Awards

Patrick G0OSO accepting the G6COL Shield which was awarded to Tom 2E0TMO for Best Achievement in Amateur Radio; Tom took and passed both the Foundation and Intermediate Exams in 2014. Alan M0XVR receiving the Joe Rose Memorial Shield which he won jointly with Ian G4EVK for their entries in the Construction Contest in November.
