It was all hands on path this morning clearing leaves outside the shack; Ken G3NIC and Peter G1FLL brought leaf vacs, I took a yard brush and shovel (for others to use!!). Successful Foundation and Intermediate Examinations were held at the Club today 5th November 2016 when Joe M6LLP passed his Intermediate Exam and Francis, Nathan, Alex and Stephen passed their Foundation Exam. Possibly the biggest Surplus Equipment Sale ever to be held by Lincoln Short Wave Club will take place on Wednesday 2nd November 2016. The National Hamfest

The National Hamfest is taking place on Friday 30th September – Saturday 1st October. Gates open at 7:30am for Flea Market Setup and 9:30am for the public. The George Stephenson Hall opens at 10am. On Wednesday 28th September members from local clubs helped set out tables in the hall (in record time) in readiness for the exhibitors arriving on Thursday 29th September.   The Bring and Buy Marquee

ANTENNA MODELLING

Using his ‘home brew ‘Tesla coil’ spark generator and a fluorescent tube, Brian Hiley (M0YXB) showed how electromagnetic energy is transmitted wirelessly through free space.
