Another Saturday morning at the shack

There was a good turnout this morning at the shack

  1. A planning meeting for an imminent trip to East Kirkby.
  2. The usual painting working party
  3. Insulation
  4. Aerial party
Roger G3PVU, Peter M0EJL, Andy M0KED, Tom G4OSB and Steve M5ZZZ; they were planning a visit to East Kirkby on Thursday to run the 1154/1155 up and check reception out in the control tower.
We had the usual painters Andy M0IYE up the ladder, Claire reaching places no-one else can, David M7OYN, Steve M5ZZZ, Pam G4STO and Stephen M5SJM dropped in and was given a paint brush.  Richard M7RKK was good enough to open a tin of paint for us.  Another week and we should be finished, then it will be shovelling gravel.
Stephen decided it was time to fix some of the insulation in the roof space.

I’m not sure what was going on on the roof but we managed to get Stephen down safely.

Les G1LQB was somewhere around but managed to avoid the camera.
