You wouldn’t think adults could have so much fun with the younger generation, well they can, the age gap didn’t get in the way and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, see the beams on the faces of some of the youngsters.

It is sad but Poacher has come to an end, apart from clearing up on Saturday. Volunteers today included Andy M0IYE, Les G1LQB, Stuart 2E0SFK, Marc M7DEU, Steve M5ZZZ, Graham M1DHV and Pam G4STOall from LSWC and Barry G4DBS and Tony G4GNC from RAF Waddington ARC and we roped in Adrian M6RSF from the Scouting fraternity to give us a hand. Mary G6SWZ was also at home making contact with some of the scouts and guides. We had over 250 young Scouts and Guides visit our tent over the six day period to learn a bit about amateur radio and gain their Communications Badge.  

Our next Special Event will be at the International Bomber Command Centre from 12th to 14th August.
