Surplus Equipment Sale
I think the marquee for viewing the surplus equipment and the change of day and time for our Surplus Equipment Sale proved successful with lots of bargains to be had. We had our regular visitors from surrounding clubs and counties and a few new faces.
Booking in ran smoothly with lots being accepted by Stephen M5SJM in the village hall and then taken to the marquee by Peter 2E0FGA, Andy M0IYE, Stuart M7OYN and probably others I didn’t see!!
Roger G3PVU was our auctioneer for the day; Roger was ably assisted by Andy M0IYE finding the lots for sale and Steve M5ZZZ and Martin M0TNM delivering the lots to buyers and collecting payments which Stephen M5SJM was happy to receive. Les G1LQB was in the marquee sorting to lots ready for Andy. Stuart M7RSF was on raffle ticket duty. Pam G4STO assisted David M7OYN with refreshments and was also on camera duty.
The marquee was almost empty so David G0BEN and Peter 2E0FGA started taking it down; they were assisted by other members once the sale was over.
Below are a few photos from the day.
Our next Surplus Equipment Sale is scheduled for April 2022.
