National Hamfest 2025

This year, the national hamfest took place a few weeks earlier than last year. The club arrived in a convoy with all the equipment needed for the four-day event.-day event. Everything was set up promptly by around 1:00 PM. We had more campers this year, and we all pitched our tents near the tea tent. Les, G1LQB, went out to the car park to get everything ready for the visitors who were arriving on Friday and Saturday. National Hamfest

Unfortunately I was not able to help at the National Hamfest again this year but, much to my surprise, the volunteers from LSWC and other clubs managed extremely well without me!!  I have been getting regular updates and I understand everyone was amazing and this led to a very smooth day one, everything was set up and ready for the exhibitors arrival by lunchtime on Wednesday.  Below are a few photos from Thursday and Friday.
