Another successful day at the Village Hall with 7 members of the Lincs 4×4 Response Group passing their Foundation Examination. It was touch and go whether or not this examination would take place as members of the group had been put onto standby by the Red Cross and Lincs Resilience Forum for potential flooding on the bank of the Humber. Luckily the Humber behaved itself. Our Secretary needs to have all paperwork completed by Wednesday 12th October. She will be available on Wednesdays 5th and 12th October to complete the necessary paperwork.

Following the recent foundation course several of the successful candidates attended the club on December 5th where Ian G4EVK explained the radio equipment in the shack; then Pam G4STO provided light refreshments (hotdogs) and sold Intermediate Course booklets in readiness for an Intermediate Course planned for the New Year.   Steve M5ZZZ followed this by giving details of the club activities and Bob G7AVU concluded the proceedings with a talk about the repeaters.
