GB2CWP Will be Active on the Monday 4th June
The Lincoln Short Wave Club Special Event station GB2CWP at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre in East Kirkby will be active between 1000hrs and 1600hrs on Monday the 4th of June.
We will be operating on all bands using CW and SSB, the T1154/R1155 is limited to only 3 frequencies on 40mtrs CW and will only be used if conditions allow on the 40mtr band. We will be using the more modern equipment on all the other bands.
We had a brilliant day @ EK, 2 taxy runs by Jane, a Spitfire display by Sqd Leader Paul Day, a Lancaster display by BBMF City of Lincoln followed by the BBMF Spitfire Mk. 9. Plus of course plenty of radio contacts by G4XFC, 2E0KWM et al.
