It was disappointing only a few members could make it to our ‘posh’ bar-be-cue today, perhaps the ‘posh’ bit put folk off but it was only posh because we had salads followed by creamy puddings; I think 500 calories a slice!  Everyone present seemed to enjoy themselves although Steve didn’t do a very good job at organising the weather, dry but cool; I felt Pam did an excellent job with the food, as usual she was worried in case there wasn’t enough to go around but also as usual, she over catered!! 

 The Special Event station GQ5FZ was enjoyed by several members of the club and will be on air again on Wednesday evening.

Steve and Pam have decided it will be good to have another bar-be-cue in July that doesn’t coincide with other local and national events so please look out for Steve’s Activities list which will be published shortly.
