Established in 1921 the club celebrated 100 years of amateur radio on 21st February 2021 unfortunately due to lockdown we were unable to ‘party’,  Once lockdown was eased and we could start meeting again we organised a Sausage and Burger afternoon which took place today.  We were joined by a few members from Hull & District Amateur Radio Society who also celebrate 100 years of amateur radio in Hull this year and from RAF Waddington ARC our neighbouring amateur radio club. Centenary Competition

Starting Today the LSWC are hosting a monthly cumulative competition as part of our centenary celebrations. Direct / simplex contacts only on any band using Voice or CW modes. Each contact is worth 1 point unless it is another LSWC member in which case it is worth 2 points. No duplicates are allowed within each month.
