Saturday morning at the shack

Lincoln Shortwave Club Posted on 07/08/2021 by G4STO12/09/2021

When I arrived at the club this morning there were cars in the car park but no one in sight apart from three club members waiting to be let into the shack.  I let them in and then started work cleaning the BBQ.  About a hour later the missing members returned; they had been sorting our storage container ready for moving it. As usual Andy M0IYE got stuck in giving the south wall of the shack another coat of paint, I’m not sure what the others were doing, I was still cleaning the BBQ.

Last weekend, 7th-8th July, the club put on a station for VHF National Field Day. Lincoln Shortwave Club Posted on 11/02/2018 by Adrian Leggett11/02/2018

Lincoln Shortwave Club is delighted to announce to members that with agreement from the committee it has just purchased an SDRplay RSP2 SDR receiver for the club shack. The receiver will be installed in the shack in the next couple of weeks and we will organise some training sessions for club members who are not … Continue reading →
